This will be a trail assessment and light maintenance event. We will split into 3-4 groups and each group will hike approximately 1.5-2 miles of the NEMBA Loop to assess trail condition after the winter, note any large-scale damage, clear blow-down, minor brush-back work, and repair signage. Lunch will be provided.

This maintenance day will focus on the single track trails in the North West corner of North Reservoir.  There are several steep grades that require maintenance to control erosion and also some wet sections that require drainage work.  No experience is necessary.  Trained Trail Crew Leaders will be on hand to guide volunteers through the steps necessary to get the job done.  Dress appropriately for manual labor.  Long pants, gloves and water bottles are suggested.  Please meet promptly at 8:30am because we will be hiking in a very short distance to the work area.  We will provide lunch after the event for all volunteers (Please contact me if you have any special dietary concerns).  NEMBA will lead a ride after the event.  New comers are we welcome.  Bring a helmet and functioning bicycle to participate in the ride.
