Back again for the 2011 season: GB NEMBA & Highland Mountain Bike Park continue the RIDE LIKE A GIRL! Trail Series
In an effort to reach out to women riders of all levels and abilities seeking to bring their riding to the next level, NEMBA and Highland Mountain invite you to join us in a women-helping-women trail series focused on fundamental skill building as a means to realize our potential as riders in the northeast.
The series kicks off with the beginner in mind but as the season progresses incorporates more challenging terrain geared toward the intermediate/advanced riders of our community. In the spirit of the event, more advanced riders are encouraged to participate in rides geared toward less experienced.
At least two Pro/Expert local riders, Karen Eagan, Alexis Wruble, Kate Parhalia and/or Kate Walton will be at each event to guide the ride.
Rides begin at 10 am with a basic skills review and wrap up around 12 pm (weather dependant).

Ride Like A Girl! #3 - Saturday, August 27nd @ Russell Mills Pump Track {Merrimack Valley}
Focus: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate
Ride Like A Girl! #4 - Sunday, Sept. 18th @ "NAM" Upper Charles Headwater {Blackstone Valley}
Focus: Intermediate/Advanced Intermediate
Ride Like A Girl! #5 - Saturday, Oct. 15th Grand Finale @ Highland Mountain Bike Park ***All riders welcome*** There will be a BBQ and other fun goings on! Bonus: Any women riders who complete all 5 in the series will be given free lift access that afternoon and a guided run!

Ride Like a Girl! Season Closer Ride at Wicked Ride 10/30 @ Harold Parker State Forest {North Shore} Directions (no registration required)
Ride Like a Girl! also continues the committment to help out women-at-risk and we continue our support for the Elizabeth Stone House in Jamaica Plain. We will be offering tee-shirts, jerseys, hats and a custom trail-side fixit kit for sale. All proceeds will go toward Elizabeth Stone House programs supporting at-risk women and families.
